Iisa Lepistö is an artist (b.1994) working mostly with stone, combining the methods of writing and sculpting. Working in the collision of the worlds formed by language, shapes and image, her works are dealing with memory, continuity and rhythm. She is interested in the tension that the material's far-reaching history stretches over the present time. Lepistö has graduated with a master's degree in sculpture from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. Alongside private collections, her works are part of the collections of Finnish Contemporary Art Museum Kiasma and Finnish Art Society. In 2024 Lepistö was awarded Raimo Utriainen Foundation's stipend for young sculptors.
