Iisa Lepistö

is an artist working with stone, combining the methods of writing and sculpting. Working in the collision of the worlds formed by language, shapes and image, her works are dealing with memory, continuity and rhythm. She is interested in the tension that the long history of stone carving stretches between the past and the present, providing a rich terrain for working.

Lepistö has graduated with a master's degree in sculpture from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. She lives in Helsinki and works in Sipoo, where she is from.
